Designed and manufactured in the UK, Envirotile synthetic slate is easier to work with than traditional slate and is a complete dry fix system that requires no cement. Part of a complete solution that includes ridge, verge and eaves products.
Did you know? The Envirotile is also available as a Half Tile and Double Tile. Half Tiles can be used to initiate a weatherproof broken bond, finishing the verge, and for detailing around abutments or flashings. Double Tile can be used as a discreet filler tile for long sections, and are recommended on the ends of each course; this is especially important on hipped faces to ensure that first and last tiles have adequate fixing points.
Envirotile is weather tested to 147mph winds and fully guaranteed to perform under severe wind load throughout the UK, and is part of a complete suite, which includes membrane and tape, ridge and hip solution, eaves and ventilation.

Starting from the left, roll the membrane horizontally across the rafters to the right, and be sure to allow 100mm lap over the felt-support trays. The use of double-sided overlap tape to secure the lower edge to the felt-support tray is highly recommended.

Fitting and Usage
Fitting of Easy-Trim breather membrane should begin at the lowest level of the roof, at the eaves, with the printed side facing out. Starting from the left, roll the membrane horizontally across the rafters to the right, and be sure to allow 100mm lap over the felt-support trays. The use of double-sided overlap tape to secure the lower edge to the felt-support tray is highly recommended.

Horizontal laps in breather membrane should be taped with the double-sided overlap tape, or battened over. Whenever possible, horizontal laps should coincide with the closest tiling or slating batten. Vertical laps should be positioned over a rafter and have a minimum of 100mm lap.

The ridge tiles are flexible with a reinforced crease, which allows them to be used on pitches from 14° to over 30°.The tiles also feature a tapered end that allows the ridge tile to sit neatly and naturally overlap the adjooining ridge tile for windtight and tidy appearance.
Did you know? Ridge tiles feature exposure markings, just like the regular tile, so they can be easily aligned with uniform spacing.
