Features & Benefits

  • Tough long lasting plastic
  • Creates a more secure verge joint
  • Allows expansion and contraction of verge
  • Designed for Envirotile Dry Verge
  • Avaliable in colour to match dry verge

Part of the Envirotile system

Envirotile tiles interlock with adjacent and under tiles to form a more secure integrated roof covering, and uses a reduced lap that can require just 12 tiles per square metre; so reduces weight, material cost and work. Reduced weight means cheaper transportation, reduced CO² transport emissions and less structural roof requirement. Being easy to work with and approximately 50% the weight of other synthetic tiles, makes Envirotile the perfect choice for creating an authentic looking conservatory roof conversion.

Designed and manufactured in the UK, Envirotile synthetic slate is easier to work with than traditional slate and is a complete dry fix system that requires no cement. Part of a complete solution that includes ridge, verge and eaves products.

Did you know? The Envirotile is also available as a Half Tile and Double Tile. Half Tiles can be used to initiate a weatherproof broken bond, finishing the verge, and for detailing around abutments or flashings. Double Tile can be used as a discreet filler tile for long sections, and are recommended on the ends of each course; this is especially important on hipped faces to ensure that first and last tiles have adequate fixing points.

Envirotile is weather tested to 147mph winds and fully guaranteed to perform under sever wind load throughout the UK, and is part of a complete suite, which includes membrane and tape, ridge and hip solution, eaves and ventilation.
