45mm Aluminium Capping for Timber Roofs Choice of colour, length and base gasket Discreet profile. Superior weatherproofing! Premium quality, Inner Capping for 45mm (1 3/4") timber rafters. The Main Bar comes as three parts, a mill-finished aluminium Inner Capping, an aluminium powder-coated Outer Capping and cast aluminium End Cap. The Inner Capping features rubber gaskets and creates a water-tight seal over the glazing when screwed to the rafter. All fixings are concealed and water ingress eliminated by the durable Outer Capping which snap-fixes securely over the Inner Capping. A heavy duty End Cap provides secure and decorative closure to end of bars, while helping to prevent slippage of Outer Capping and glazing material. End closures are typically fitted to the gutter-end of pitched roofs, such as those of a conservatory, or to both ends of a free-standing roof. Provides decorative protection to the vulnerable ends of polycarbonate sheeting.
