Designed as replacement to mortar

High performance low modulus, neutral cure silicone sealant. Replacement to mortar for sealing of lead flashings and is equally effective sealing other roofing materials such as slate, tile, soffits and guttering.

Flash-Mate is the ideal product for sealing and bonding of dissimilar materials to prevent water ingression, tile lift, noise and is commonly used for lead flashing, sealing rooflights, roofline products, industrial roofing systems and small roof repairs.

Limitations

Porous surfaces should be primed first. Do not use on surfaces where water can penetrate through porous materials to the bond.

Using Soudal Butyband Lead Flashing Tape Cut Butyl tape to the desired length before removing the protective paper and apply the tape to the prepared surface. If one strip of Butyband is to join another, make sure that there is an overlap of at least 50mm.
