General Purpose Builder Silicone
Low-modulus, neutral cure for perimeter sealing
Professional grade, low modulus, neutral cure silicone had good adhesion properties and cures rapidly.
RTV adhesive and sealant is unaffected by UV, ozone, salt water immersion and extreme temperatures. It contains no fungicides or oils that may allow water to leach and has good durability characteristics.
Used in construction for perimeter external sealing of wood, aluminium and PVCu door and window frames and for weather sealing infil panels. WP70's additional PVCu adhesion promoters make this product an ideal choice for PVCu window and door fitters as well as the home DIY enthusiast.

Limitations
WP70 is not suitable for use with aquaria, for aquariums and fishtanks we recommend HA6 Marine Silicone. WP70 is not suitable for use on bitumen, asphalt, natural stone or self-cleaning glass and over-painting is not recommended. For these applications you may be interested in GB Pro, our MS Polymer adhesive and sealant.

Fix ALL Flexi Sealant and Adhesive Compatibility
All usual building substrates, natural stone, treated wood, PVC, plastics
Tested on the following metal surfaces: steel, AlMgSi1, brass, electrolytic galvanised steel, AlCuMg1, flame galvanised steel, AlMg3 and steel ST1403.
Good adhesion on plastics, including polystyrene, polycarbonate, PVC, ABS, polyamide, PMMA, fiberglass reinforced epoxy, polyester.
There is no adhesion on PE, PP, PTFE and bituminous substrates.
A surface activator is recommended for optimal adhesion and porous surfaces in water loaded applications should be primed
As with all sealants, compatibility tests are always recommended

Superior quality low modulus neutral cure (LMN) silicone sealant for glazing and construction. Offers primerless adhesion to all common construction materials, with high movement capability to accommodate expansion and contraction.
Silirub LMN from Soudal, is thick-bodied, provides excellent toolability with a very fast-skinning time and final cure. Being a 2-Butanone oxime, Silirub LMN offers excellent adhesion to PVC-u. 300ml EU3 cartridge (with nozzle) fits standard skeleton gun applicators.

Silirub LMN Sealant Compatibility

Can be used with most glass types, except self-cleaning, laminated and PVB. Should not come into contact with the butyl sealant on sealed double-glazed units
What is Low Modulus and High Modulus? Modulus describes how a cured sealant acts under stress and strain. The term Low Modulus describes a sealant that is softer and stretchier than High Modulus, which are harder and less elastic. Low Modulus sealant has approximately 50% movement capability compared to 25% of High Modulus. Choice between Low Mod and High Mod depends on application, using around exterior PVC-u, such as windows, doors and roofline would require a Low Mod to accommodate expansion and contraction. Sealing around a worktop, or glass tank would require a High Mod sealant.

These cartridge nozzles have a universal screw fitting to fit standard EU3 cartridges. The nozzle incorporates an additional thread, to which the screw cap can be fitted when the cartridge is not in use to keep cartridges air tight.
Using the additional screw cap will prevent the silicone from hardening in the nozzle and will prolong the shelf life of the cartridge - no more throwing away half used tubes!
