Wear appropriate safety gear - eye and ear protection Determine where the anchor is going to be placed Using an 8mm bit drill a pilot hole to the correct depth into the substrate Hoover out the hole to remove debris Manoeuvre the object being fastened into position Install the concrete anchor using a socket wrench or spanner to ensure that the anchor is not over tightened and strip the thread Quick Tip: if you do not have a depth gauge on your drill add a piece of tape onto the drill bit acting as a mark for where to stop drilling.
